Месото от външното филе се почиства от ципите и жилите и се нарязва напречно на мускулните влакна на парчета които леко се начукват. Оформят се елепсовидни или триъгълни стекове. Поръсват се със сол и смлян черен пипер. Панират се в брашно и се пържат в загрятата мазнина. Лукът се нарязва на филии и се изпържва заедно с нарязаният бекон. Върху всеки рамстек се подреждат последователно пържен лук, бекон и краве масло. Поднасят се със сос от печено и се гарнират с пържени картофи, грах и др.
