Измитите картофи и моркови се сваряват в подсолена вода и се обелват, докато са топли, а като изстинат се нарязват на дребни кубчета. Нарязаният на дребно лук се задушава в част от слънчогледовото масло до омекване, прибавя се почистеният и измит ориз, залива се малко гореща вода и се задушава на тихо кипене, докато набъбне, след което се оставя да изстине. Смесват се картофите, морковите, оризът и граха. Прибавят се твърдо сварените и нарязани на кубчета яйца, половината от настърганият кашкавал, черният пипер , джоджанът и солта. Сместа се омесва и се оставя да престои около 15 мин. В намазана с мазнина тава се подреждат оформените с купичка порции. Всяка се полива с бешамелов сос застроен с яйце и се поръсва с настърганият кашкавал и кравето масло. Запича се във фурна до зачервяване. Поднася се с заквасена сметана.
